The Millennial Reign is a 1000-year period in which the greatest world power will be the Elect of God ruling from Jerusalem under the authority of Jesus, the Christ, aka Yahusha HaMashaich, who is seated at the right hand of His Father in the heavenly Mt. Zion.
It is a 1000-year period of peace on Earth.
Part 1
An Introduction to the Millennial Reign
This is another subject of which few people have a good understanding. The Bible has quite a bit to say about this period of time, but the scriptures get little attention. The more you know about what God has revealed to you through His Word, the less you will be led astray by errant teaching.
The Millennial Reign begins at the conclusion of the Day of Yahuah, aka The Day of the LORD. .
As the Day of Yahuah concludes there are few survivors on Earth. Israel will emerge as the nation that has defeated all who came up against her. Governments around the world will struggle to recover from the judgments of Yahuah, but one thing will be clear to everyone who survives. Yahuah is God and His Son is Yahusha HaMashaich. The glory of God will be upon the final remnant of Israel and a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night will be upon them continually.
Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach
Isa 4:2 In that day shall the branch of Yahuah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
Isa 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Isa 4:4 When Yahuah shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
Isa 4:5 And Yahuah will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defense.
Isa 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
And again the Word testifies…
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahuah, as the waters cover the sea.
I have written this series, The Truth About What the Bible Says, much like a book with chapters. Each post builds on things previously explained. If I have already covered something I will assume you have already read it. Just for the record, I wrote The Truth About Science first, then The Truth About 666, and The Truth About What the Bible Says last.
Part 2
Prophecies of the Coming of the Millennial Reign
The apocalyptic prophecies in Daniel spend a lot of time on the Little Horn, aka the False Prophet. The False Prophet is the person troubling Israel in the final seven years of the age of the Gentiles before the Kingdom of God begins the Millennial age. We are going to revisit those prophecies now to focus on the coming Kingdom.
The Beast, the coming Caliphate, and the Caliph.
Dan 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
The Little Horn, aka The False Prophet
Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The Judgment of Yahuah, aka the Day of the Lord.
Dan 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
Dan 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Dan 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed and given to the burning flame.
The beginning of the Kingdom of God on the Earth.
Dan 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Daniel 7:12-14 above describes the beginning of the Kingdom of God on Earth which is more accurately called the Kingdom of Yahusha HaMashaich. In verse 13 above we see Him, Yahusha, aka Jesus, described as ‘one like the Son of man’. This prophecy predates His first advent.
In that verse we see Yahusha coming in the clouds of heaven and appearing in the presence of His Father who is described as ‘the Ancient of days’. From this context, we understand that this event is taking place in the heavenly realm. It is there He, Yahusha, receives His kingship and it is from there that He reigns.
In verse 14 above we see that once His kingdom begins, all people, nations, and languages will serve Him and His kingdom will never end. This is the key topic of the rest of the story. We know the Millennial reign is 1000 years, so what happens after that?
In verse 12 above we have prophetic language that tells us the answer.
- The ‘rest of the beasts’ is a reference to the rest of the nations of the Earth. As we have explained before a ‘beast’ in these and other related prophecies is a kingdom and a king. There are survivors of the judgment of Yahuah all over the world. The nations of the Earth will struggle to recover and their ‘lives’, i.e. their kingdoms will be prolonged.
- Their dominion is taken away. They will no longer be sovereign nations. Israel will rule over them.
- Their lives will be prolonged for ‘a time and a season’. This prophetic language can be interpreted from related scriptures in Daniel and Revelation. The ‘time’ is 1000 years and the ‘season’ is the little season that Satan is loosed from his prison in the abyss to go up and deceive the nations of the Earth for the last time.
Now we have the Millennial Reign defined and we also know what will take place after the 1000 years of peace on Earth.
Part 3
The Rod of Iron
The nations of the Earth will not bow willingly to Israel. Israel will rule them with a rod of iron.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Psa 2:6Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Tsiyon. (Zion)
Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: Yahuah has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.
Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
Psa 2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Psa 2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Psa 2:11 Serve Yahuah with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
As I have written earlier, Yahusha will rule and reign from the heavenly Mt. Zion until His Father, Yahuah, has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. Therefore, as long as people are born, live, and die on this Earth, Yahusha will remain in the heavenly Mt. Zion with His Father. He, Yahusha, will rule and reign through His people on Earth. His people will be His Church, the Israel of God.
Gal 6:15– 16 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God
Mat 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
Mat 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
As you can see from these scriptures Jesus, from the heavenly Mt. Zion, will give His Church, the Israel of God, authority to rule on the Earth.
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (shall be, when He begins His reign, His reward is the work they will be given to do.)
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Part 4
Who is the Church?
When the final remnant (written about in a previous post by the same name) comes to the knowledge of Yahusha HaMashiach and returns to Israel from the wilderness of the peoples, she will begin to reign on the Earth. When this happens God will gather all believers throughout the Earth to the land of Israel. This is the true gathering to the promised land. This is not the gathering that took place after 1948 as many church leaders have taught.
Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
The second time here does not refer to the second time since 1948. It refers to the second time since Israel’s exile to Assyria and Babylon. This is the true gathering of the people of God from the North, South, East, and West.
The entire chapter of Isaiah 11 is about the Millennial reign. In my post on The Truth About the Throne of David I explained the form of government that God would establish during the Millennial reign. It is the same form of government Israel had from the beginning. Isa 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counselors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Yahusha, aka Jesus, will be their king, ruling from heavenly Mt. Zion, and He will raise up Judges and Counsellors (those Counselors are Pastors, FAITHFUL shepherds) to lead His People by the Holy Spirit.
Isa 11:1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of Yahuah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahuah;
Isa 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of Yahuah: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
The ‘rod out of the stem of Jesse’ is a different word in Hebrew than the ‘rod of His mouth’ in verse 4. The rod in verse 1 can be a thin long stick or it could be simply an offspring. Metaphorically, the stick relates to the branch. The Branch will be one of the focal points of this post. Before we get to that, let’s quickly look at the contextual verses.
In verse 2 above is a list of the Seven Spirits of God which are represented by the Menorah in the Tabernacle and the Temple.
The main shaft in the middle is the (1) Spirit of Yahuah followed by the six branches of the Spirit, (2) the Spirit of Wisdom, (3) the Spirit of Understanding, (4) the Spirit of Counsel, (5) the Spirit of Might, (6) the Spirit of Knowledge, (7) and the Spirit of the Fear of Yahuah.
Knowledge, understanding, and wisdom are the three parts of human intellect as described on the homepage of Yeetfire.com.
The Fear of Yahuah is my opening post on What the Bible Really Says.
This is the Holy Spirit by which all judgment and reproof will be made in that kingdom. Verse 3 says no judge will judge by what he hears or by what he sees. Isa 42:19 Who is blind, but my Servant? Or deaf, as my Messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as Yahuah’s Servant? Righteous judgment and equitable reproof can only be made by God through His Holy Spirit.
Now we will get back to the Branch. The Branch is God’s chosen people. The Branch is the Church.
This is the pivotal interpretation where people raise objections if they think that God’s chosen people and the Church are different groups. God’s chosen people, Israel, are the Elect of God. People do not choose God, God chooses them. The Branch in verse 1 above is the Ekklesia, the ‘called out’ ones, an assembly of the chosen of God, and the Israel of God.
But, if you call them the Church people get all bent out of place about it.
The reason is that from the second century and forward people have made a distinguishment between Christians and Jews making them mutually exclusive. However, that was NEVER the case. The Church began in Jerusalem and was originally 100% Jews.
The Church is the people God has chosen. Here are the words of Jesus about His Church…
Joh 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
Joh 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
Joh 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
God the Father reveals His Son Yahusha, aka Jesus, to whomever HE chooses. And Jesus, aka Yahusha, reveals the Father to whomever HE chooses.
Luk 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
It is by this revelation that the Church is born and continues to exist. Only the Church knows the Father and the Son.
Mat 16:20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
God chooses His People. He always has and He always will. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob signify faith, promise, and election, we went over all that in the post, The Final Remnant of Israel. It is not replacement Theology, and it is not the rejection of Israel. It is the New Covenant where circumcision avails nothing and uncircumcision avails nothing. Everything is faith in Yahusha HaMashiach, in HIM are ALL the promises of God. You cannot put new wine in an old wineskin.
In these verses below Jesus, aka Yahusha, explains the difference between the biological Abraham’s seed and the spiritual Abraham’s seed.
Joh 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Joh 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Joh 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Joh 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Joh 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Joh 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The children of Abraham do the works of Abraham. The children of the devil do the works of the devil. The children of God do the works of God.
Joh 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Yahusha HaMashiach has been in the world. He is the one whom God has sent. Believing on Him is the work of God. This is the New Covenant. Yahusha HaMashiach is the High Priest and King of the Israel of God. He is not High Priest and King of those who reject Him, or those who do not receive Him. But to as many as believe on Him, He gives them power to become Sons of God.
Part 5
What will the Millennial Kingdom look like?
There is lots to cover here so let’s begin with an outline. Then I will put some scriptures with each topic and go into some detail.
- The surviving remnant of biological Israel will recognize the real Jesus Christ, Yahusha HaMashiach, as their Messiah.
- Satan will be imprisoned for 1000 years.
- Those Martyrs who refused the mark of the Beast will be resurrected from the dead.
- Israel will rule all the nations of the Earth with a ‘rod of iron’.
- Syria and Egypt will turn to Yahusha HaMashiach in the same manner as Israel.
- There will be 1000 years without war on the Earth.
- Human lifespans will increase dramatically
- Man will live in harmony with animals
- The environment will heal
- The Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahuah
The Bible has more to say than those ten topics, but those will give you a good idea of what life will be like after the Day of Yahuah. It will be a time marked by mankind learning to live in peace with one another and learning the ways of Yahuah. It will also be a time of restoration. The Kingdom of God will begin in Israel and grow to fill the whole earth.
- The surviving remnant of biological Israel will recognize the real Jesus Christ, Yahusha HaMashiach, as their Messiah.
Isa 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon travailed, she brought forth her children.
The nation of Isaiah 66:8 is the nation of Israel. As I have explained in previous posts, Israel is the elect of God. Those whom God has chosen to be His own people. I will take this opportunity to go over it again because it is so important.
In the New Covenant, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. There is no Jew and no Gentile. You either believe that Yahusha HaMashiach is the Son of God or you don’t. You either believe that the son of the virgin Mary was a human being in whom the fullness of God dwelt while he was on the earth, or you don’t. You either believe that the blood of that man that was shed on the cross at Calvary ratified the New Covenant between God and man or you don’t. You either believe that He laid down His life while on that cross and died, then 3 days later raised Himself up from the dead or you don’t. You either believe that He is sitting with His Father, at His right hand, in the throne of His Father in heavenly Mt. Zion waiting until His Father makes His enemies His footstool or you don’t.
The Israel of God believe those things, everyone else does not.
At this time, right now, some of biological Israel, biological descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, believe those things, and some don’t. Therefore, at this time some of the biological descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are Israel and some are not.
There are many Israelis who claim to be part of the nation of Israel because they are biological descendants of Jacob. We just went over that above. The true children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob do the works of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The promised land is promised to Abraham and to Abraham’s seed. Seed is singular. All of the promises that God made to Abraham are given to him and to his seed. That seed is Yahusha HaMashaich. If you belong to Him, the promises belong to you. If you do not belong to Him, the promises do not belong to you. Your biology cannot save you neither does your biology entitle you to the promises of God.
BOTTOM LINE:
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob: Faith, Promise, Election.
FAITH: Abraham is the father of righteousness that comes by Faith without the works of the Law. Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for RIGHTEOUSNESS. Adam and Eve did NOT believe God and it was sin to them.
PROMISE: God promised Abraham an heir from his own body. Ishmael was conceived by the works of the flesh, but Isaac was that child God promised. Therefore the heir is by promise and not by the works of the flesh or the Law. The inheritance is through the promised seed, not by the Law of inheritance.
ELECTION: Jacob was chosen by God, Esau was refused by God. Before either child was born, before either child had done good or evil according to the Law, God declared, “Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated” that the purpose of ELECTION might stand. Therefore salvation and inheritance come by FAITH, without the works of the Law, according to the PROMISE of God, not by the works of the flesh(biology) or the Law, to the ELECT whom God has chosen according to the counsel of His own will, and not according to works of the Law.
THE LAND OF ISRAEL AND THE CITY OF JERUSALEM ARE PROMISED TO ABRAHAM AND HIS SEED. THAT SEED IS YAHUSHA HA MASHAICH AND ALL THOSE WHO BELONG TO HIM, NOT TO ANYONE ELSE.
Now let’s get back to Biological Israel and explain what I mean when I say the surviving remnant of biological Israel will recognize the real Jesus Christ, aka Yahusha HaMashaich. To do this I have to explain the prophecies of Israel’s rejection and redemption because there are many.
In the post The Final Remnant of Israel I explained that God has always had a remnant in each generation. He has always reserved some to Himself even when Israel rebelled against Him. But in the final generation of the age of the Gentiles, those who escape the slaughter of the Beast and the False Prophet will encounter Yahusha HaMashaich in the wilderness after fleeing Jerusalem. These are biological descendants of Jacob, a remnant that God will allow to escape into the wilderness. Here is the prophecy in Isaiah.
Isa 10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Yahuah, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
Isa 10:21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
Isa 10:22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
Verse 22 describes a great slaughter in Israel. It is horrible to contemplate the comparison in this verse. Though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea… that is a very large number… yet a remnant of them shall return…that is a very small number. The murderous destruction that will be executed upon the residents of modern-day Israel by the Beast and the False Prophet will be monstrous.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
The above quote from Matthew is Yahusha’s own explanation of Isaiah 10:22. Should God Himself not intervene no one in Israel would be left alive. Yet Yahuah will save His Elect remnant.
As written in The Final Remnant of Israel, the Woman who brought forth the man-child of Revelation 12 is the remnant spoken of here. She (the woman) flees into the wilderness where she is hidden by God for 3½ years from the face of the serpent, the devil, Satan. It is there this remnant of biological Israel, broken and humbled, will repent and call upon Yahuah to save her. And it is during that time they will come face to face with Yahusha HaMashiach.
Eze 20:33 As I live, says Adonai Yahuah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
Eze 20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
Eze 20:35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.
Eze 20:36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Mitsrayim, so will I plead with you, says Adonai Yahuah.
Eze 20:37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
Eze 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Yashar’el: and ye shall know that I amYahuah.
After the manner in which Yahuah met with Israel when they fled from Pharoah, so will He meet with the remnant of Israel when they flee from the Beast worldwide and from False Prophet in Israel into the wilderness. And so, the FINAL REMNANT OF BIOLOGICAL ISRAEL will “pass under the rod” there in the wilderness. Here God will “purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me:” As they pass under the rod, God selects those who belong to Him and rejects the rest.
As Moses met with Yahuah face to face, so will Yahusha meet with them face to face. Those whom God has chosen will recognize Him and will receive Him and they will be brought into the New Covenant with Yahusha HaMashiach.
Isa 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon travailed, she brought forth her children.
This is how a nation is born at once. This remnant will return from the wilderness in the glory and power of the Holy Spirit and will mount a counter-offensive against the Beast and the False Prophet and will prevail. They will establish their government in Israel. That government will grow to rule all nations with a rod of iron.
Dan 2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.
Dan 2:32 This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
Dan 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
Most people understand this imagery, but I will explain it to those unfamiliar with it. In the same chapter verses 36-45, Daniel interprets the dream to Nebuchadnezzar, but as it relates to this post the imagery is this:
The feet of the image are the final version of the fourth kingdom that will tread down all the earth.
The stone cut without hands is the Founder and Chief Cornerstone of the church, Yahusha, aka Jesus.
The great mountain is a great kingdom, the Kingdom of God.
The chaff are all former kingdoms of the world that are ground to chaff by the Kingdom of God and replaced by the Kingdom of God. This is the reason it says the stone ‘became’ a great mountain because it is a 1000-year process.
Now you can see that biological Israel will play a big role in establishing the Kingdom of God upon the earth. As you can also see, it is a kingdom based on the faith that Abraham demonstrated when he believed the Word of God. Also based on the promises of God, not on the works of the flesh, as in Isaac, the son promised by God, was his seed called. And finally, by the elect, those chosen by God, not according to biology, birthright, or works. God chose Jacob, not Esau, even though Esau had every biological right that Jacob had.
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
This is the sum of it
Now that you understand that it is not by biology but in Yahusha HaMashiach, aka Jesus the Christ, that all the promises of God to Abraham and his seed are given, including the promised land, the kingdom, and everything else these verses should make sense to you.
For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea. This verse is setting up a comparison to the number of biological descendants of Abraham as the sand of the sea in number, yet only a remnant will enter into the promises of God to Abraham.
2. Satan will be imprisoned for 1000 years.
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
As a result of the war in heaven, Satan and his angelic servants will be cast into the earth. His position and ability to access the heavenly realm where God resides will be taken from him temporarily. He and his angelic followers will be thrown into the earth where he will raise up followers, including the Beast and the False Prophet and many governments. Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Ultimately, he will be defeated by Yahusha leading his army.
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Remember, the Beast, the AntiChrist, the Caliph of Islam, claims to be God. He makes many claims against the True God Yahuah and tries to cast God down from heaven and reviles Him. He deceives the world into believing he is God.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
They are defeated by Yahusha and His army and cast alive into the lake of fire. At the same time, Satan, having lost his army is taken and chained in the bottomless pit for 1000 years.
3. Those Martyrs who refused the mark of the Beast will be resurrected from the dead.
When Satan and his angelic followers are cast out of heaven, it will create a huge number of vacancies in the spiritual realm. It will be a purging of Thrones, of Dominions, of Principalities, and of Powers.
I believe the first resurrection of the dead will be to fill those vacancies.
There will be resistance to the Beast worldwide including in Israel. Those who refuse to worship him or take his mark, name, or number will die.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
And again the Word testifies:
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Those that are resurrected from the dead do not take up residence again on this earth. Those thrones spoken of in Rev. 20:4 above are in the heavenly realm. We know that because the 144,000 true disciples of Yahusha who were on the earth are seen in heaven.
In Revelation 7, before the judgments of Yahuah are released upon the earth we see 144,000 elect of God from the tribes of Israel are sealed with the seal of God in their foreheads. In Revelation 14 we see the 144,000 with the name of God in their forehead are in the Temple of God in heaven serving Him day and night.
They were martyred and subsequently raised from the dead along with others who were martyred. This is the first resurrection. We see these people in heaven, in the Temple of God, serving Him day and night.
Israel will rule all the nations of the Earth with a ‘rod of iron’.
In part 3 above we looked at some of the scriptures concerning the rod of iron. I do not know many details of the rod of iron but here are a couple examples.
The survivors throughout the world will not all bow willingly to the rule of Yahusha through His Judges and Counselors. Many people will go up to Jerusalem to learn the ways of God, some will not. One of the regulations that the world will be compelled to obey is to come up to Jerusalem once a year and keep the Biblical Festival of the Feast of Tabernacles.
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that everyone that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahuah Tseva’oth, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahuah Tseva’oth, even upon them shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahuah will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
In this same chapter of Zechariah, there is a description of a plague that is sent from God upon all those who came up to fight against Jerusalem.
Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith Yahuah will smite all the people that have fought against Yerushalayim; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Zec 14:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from Yahuah shall be among them; and they shall lay hold everyone on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
Zec 14:14 And Yahudah also shall fight at Yerushalayim; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
Zec 14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
It is highly unusual for any plague to strike both humans and animals alike. Some have likened these symptoms to the effects of a neutron bomb. However, I do not think that is the case. My reading of these scriptures is that this is a plague, a biological plague and that it is not a one-time occurrence from the detonation of a nuclear weapon.
In Zec. 14:17-18 above there is a reference to the punishment of drought upon the nation or family that does not come up to the Feast of Tabernacles, but there is also a reference to the plague upon any individual family that does not come to the Feast of Tabernacles.
Peace and righteousness are hallmarks of the kingdom of God. We see many scriptures of peaceful coexistence of man, animal, and earth during the Millennial Reign. A time of restoration and learning the ways of God. At the same time, we see the rule of the sinful nature of man by force, a rod of iron.
Once you understand the tension that will exist during this period between righteousness and man’s sinful nature you will be able to understand Psalms 2, the final rebellion. This is what will occur once the 1000 years and a little season have passed and Satan is once again released to go up upon the earth and deceive the nations of the earth into rebelling against God and His rule.
Psa 2:1 WHY do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahuah, and against his Mashiach, saying,
Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Psa 2:4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: Adonai shall have them in derision.
Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Tsiyon.
Psalms 2 verses 1-3 describe the final rebellion that will take place after the Millennial Reign. It will, of course, fail.
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Syria and Egypt will turn to Yahusha HaMashiach in the same manner as Israel.
The following verses from Isaiah talk about the coming conversion of Egypt and Syria to the knowledge of Yahusha HaMashiach as the son of God. In these verses, Mitsrayim is the ancient name of modern Egypt, and Ashshurah or Ashshur is the ancient name of Assyria which is now condensed to modern-day Syria. Yahudah is Judah and Yashar’el of course is Israel.
Isa 19:16 In that day shall Mitsrayim be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of Yahuah Tseva’oth, which he shakes over it.
Isa 19:17 And the land of Yahudah shall be a terror unto Mitsrayim, everyone that makes mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of Yahuah Tseva’oth, which he has determined against it.
Isa 19:18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Mitsrayim speak the language of Kena`an, and swear seven oaths to Yahuah Tseva’oth; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
Isa 19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to Yahuah in the midst of the land of Mitsrayim, and a pillar at the border thereof to Yahuah.
Isa 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Yahuah Tseva’oth in the land of Mitsrayim: for they shall cry unto El־Yahuah because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a Savior, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
Isa 19:21 And Yahuah shall be known to Mitsrayim, and the Mitsriym shall know Yahuah in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto Yahuah, and perform it.
Isa 19:22 And Yahuah shall smite Mitsrayim: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to Yahuah, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
Isa 19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Mitsrayim to Ashshurah, and Ashshur shall come into Mitsrayim, and the Mitsriym into Ashshur, and the Mitsriym shall serve with the Ashshuriym.
Isa 19:24 In that day shall Yashar’el be the third with Mitsrayim and with Ashshur, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
Isa 19:25 Whom Yahuah Tseva’oth shall bless, saying, Blessed be Mitsrayim my people, and Ashshur the work of my hands, and Yashar’el my inheritance.
You can see from these verses alone the process of the kingdom of God growing to fill the entire earth. Entire nations will turn to Yahusha HaMashiach, not through evangelism but by revelation as the earth becomes filled with the knowledge of Yahusha Ha Mashiach. They shall all be taught by God.
Isa 2:3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahuah, to the house of the Elohai of Ya`aqov;(Jacob) and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Tsiyon(Zion) shall go forth the Torah, and the Word of Yahuah from Yerushalayim.(Jerusalem)
Num 14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Yahuah.
Psa 72:19 And blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahuah, as the waters cover the sea.
There will be 1000 years without war on the Earth.
The tools of war will be recycled into the tools of farming. The “defense industry” will be abolished worldwide. THANK GOD!
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Mic 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Human lifespans will increase dramatically
I could quickly show you the verses in Isaiah that talk about the length of lifespans increasing during the Millennial Reign without addressing the elephant in that particular room. But that would be a disservice to the reader and a wasted opportunity to teach. The context brings up the new heaven and the new earth before expounding on things that will come to pass, some in the new earth and some in the present earth. The context makes no distinction and treats it like a single event, This is why supporting scriptures must be included to rightly divide the Word of Truth.
Let’s take a look at Isaiah 65, the scriptures of our present discussion.
In verses 1-16 you see the rejection of the biological descendants of Jacob because of their refusal of Yahuah in favor of idols. You see that Yahuah gives them to the sword to be killed but protects His chosen, His elect. Isa 65:13 Therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants, shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: Isa 65:14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart and shall howl for vexation of the ruach. Isa 65:15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for Adonai Yahuah shall slay you, and call his servants by another name: This is consistent with what has been written so far in this post.
Then starting in verse 17 through the end of the chapter, verse 25, are the verses of this discussion.
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create renewed heavens and a renewed earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isa 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Yerushalayim, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days: for the child shall die a hundred years old; but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
Isa 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
Isa 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Isa 65:23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahuah, and their offspring with them.
Isa 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, says Yahuah.
As you can see, a child will die at 100 years old. As the days of a tree are the days of my people. Trees with moderate lifespans live 100 to 300 years. But are these scriptures talking about the Millennial time period or are they talking about after God creates the new heaven and the new earth? And is it a new heaven and new earth or a renewed heaven and a renewed earth?
All the verses above are taken from the Cepher Bible translation that has the name Yahuah used correctly. In the King James Version, the word new is used instead of the word renewed. The actual Hebrew word there is “חָדָשׁ” (chadash). The correct translation is NEW. God is talking about a NEW heavens and a NEW earth.
The creation of NEW heaven and a NEW earth is a singular event that takes place after the Millennial Reign, after the ‘little season’, after Satan is released from the abyss, after the final rebellion, after the last trump, after the second resurrection of the dead, and after the Great White Throne Judgment. We have covered this in previous posts nonetheless, here are the scriptures from the book of Revelation.
The Thousand Years
Rev 20:1 AND I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of Elohiym and of Mashiach, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The Defeat of Satan
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the qodeshiym about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from Elohiym out of heaven, and devoured them.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Judgment Before the Great White Throne
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohiym; and the cepheriym were opened: and another cepher was opened, which is the cepher of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the cepheriym, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and She’ol delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14And death and She’ol were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the cepher of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The New Heaven and the New Earth
Rev 21:1 AND I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I Yochanon saw the holy city, Renewed Yerushalayim, coming down from Elohiym out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her man.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of Elohiym is with men, and he will tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohiym himself shall be with them, and be their Elohiym.
Rev 21:4 And Elohiym shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am the א (Aleph) and the ת (Tav), the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev 21:7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his Elohiym, and he shall be my son.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The New Jerusalem
Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s woman.
Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the Ruach to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Yerushalayim, descending out of heaven from Elohiym,
Rev 21:11 Having the glory of Elohiym: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Yashar’el:
Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
Rev 21:16 And the city lies foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand stadion. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Rev 21:22 And I saw no Temple therein: for Yahuah Elohiym Tseva’oth and the Lamb are the Temple of it.
Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of Elohiymdid lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it.
Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defiles, neither whatsoever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s cepher of life.
The scriptures give the order of things and clearly, the new heaven and new earth are created AFTER everything on this earth and this universe we live in has come to an end.
Here are the important points;
- The new earth does not have any seas
- The new earth does not have a sun or moon
- New Jerusalem descends from heaven and resides on the earth. The size of the new Jerusalem is a cube measuring 12.000 stadion. That is approximately 136 miles in length, width, and height.
- Most importantly, there is no death on the new earth. Therefore lifespans are infinite, not finite.
So if we return to the original scriptures of Isaiah 65:17-25 you will see that even though God speaks of creating a new heavens and a new earth, in the context He still talks about limited lifespans. That is clearly this present earth where death still happens. He also talks about Jerusalem where that voice of weeping will not be heard. That is a feature of the NEW Jerusalem.
So if you do not know all of the scriptures you will not see those distinctions. Let’s take a look a the very next chapter in Isaiah where God brings it up again with a slight but important distinction.
Isa 66:15 For, behold, Yahuah will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will Yahuah plead with all flesh: and the slain of Yahuah shall be many.
Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says Yahuah.
Isa 66:18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
Isa 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Ludiy, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Yavan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the other nations.
Isa 66:20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto Yahuah out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Yerushalayim, says Yahuah, as the children of Yashar’el bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahuah.
Isa 66:21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Leviyiym, says Yahuah.
Isa 66:22 For as the renewed heavens and the renewed earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says Yahuah, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from New Moon to his New Moon, and from Shabbath to his Shabbath, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says Yahuah.
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
In verse 22 Yahuah brings up, once again, the subject of a new heavens and a new earth. This time He clearly states that they are something that HE WILL MAKE, a future event. He uses them as an allegorical comparison to His eternal commitment to His people.
He then immediately in the next verse refers to this present earth and time with a reference to new moons. We have already established that the new earth will have no sun or moon.
God is not the author of confusion. He is the greatest teacher. He wants us to search for understanding. If you know the scriptures you will see in the first verse above He sets the parameters of the time period under discussion in these verses. Isa 66:15 For, behold, Yahuah will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
With fire and with his chariots are two different events. With chariots to destroy the AntiChrist and False Prophet and with fire to end the final rebellion. The time period of these scriptures extends from before to Millennial Reign to after the final rebellion.
You have read the fire coming down from heaven to destroy the final rebellion in Revelation. Without getting too deep into it, I will show you verses relating to the chariots of God coming to destroy the AntiChrist and False Prophet.
As I have written previously, the final remnant of Israel will flee Jerusalem into the ‘wilderness of the peoples’. That will occur when they flee Jerusalem into Edom southeast of Jerusalem. That is the desert or wilderness where I believe Yahusha will meet with them face to face. There are several references to God coming from Siani, Sier, Mt Paran, Teman, Bozrah, Idumea, and Edom. These are all the same area and these verses all refer to the same event.
Duet 33:2, Hab 3:1-16, Is 34:1-8, Is 63:1-4, and Rev 19:11-21
In all these verses we see God coming to defend and save His elect and to execute judgment on the nations. In Hab 3:8 we see Him riding upon His horses and His chariots of salvation. Hab 3:8 Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
I am going to include all the verses so you can read them if you want to and also you can see that I am not simply plucking a verse out of context to make a point,

Hab 3:15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
Hab 3:16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Finally, I want to address the translation of the word “חָדָשׁ” (chadash) being translated as renewed in the Cepher Bible and some other Bibles.
It should be obvious by now that the new heavens and particularly the new earth are not renewed versions of the same. The new earth has no seas, no sun, and no moon. Those features alone would destroy the ecosystem of this planet and render it a frozen rock.
The word chadash is used 58 times in the Old Testament and even in the Cepher Bible is usually translated as new rather than renewed with a few notable exceptions. Jer 31:31 is the prophecy of the New Covenant that God will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. The Cepher Bible translates it this way: Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will cut a Renewed Covenant with the house of Yashar’el, and with the house of Yahudah: The King James Bible translates it this way: Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
I personally believe that the idea of a renewed covenant is a dangerous heretical teaching. Here is my reasoning…
- The concept of a “renewed covenant” is often associated with the idea that God renews or reaffirms a covenant that was established earlier. In this context, the focus is on the continuity and faithfulness of God to the original covenant.
- Some people will then argue that the New Testament represents a renewal or fulfillment of the covenant God made with Israel in the Old Testament, emphasizing the continuity and faithfulness of God’s plan.
That is NOT the case in any way, shape or form.
The NEW covenant that God has made is based on Faith, without the works of the law, in the finished work of Yahusha HaMashiach. That is the ONLY way to enter into the Kingdom of God.
Jhn 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Jhn 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Jhn 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
Jhn 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
Jhn 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
By saying Jer 31:31 is a renewed covenant is to try to breathe new life into the old covenant. I find that to be a dangerous road to go down.
My conclusion on renewed vs. new in the translation of “חָדָשׁ” (chadash) at times as the word renewed is THE RESULT OF BIAS BY THE TRANSLATORS in trying to make the scriptures say something they don’t. It is a NEW heavens and a NEW earth. It is a NEW covenant.
Man will live in harmony with animals
The verses relating to this topic are among the most well known so I will not spend much time on them.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahuah, as the waters cover the sea.
And again in Isaiah 65…
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith Yahuah.
The environment will heal
As God begins to heal and restore His people after the great tribulation he will also restore His land. There are a few references scattered here and there throughout the Bible but one of the most complete ones is below from the Book of Joel.
Jol 2:18 Then will Yahuah be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
Jol 2:19 Yea, Yahuah will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
Jol 2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
Jol 2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for Yahuah will do great things.
Jol 2:22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
Jol 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahuah your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
Jol 2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
Jol 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Jol 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Yahuah your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
Jol 2:27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Yahuah your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
The Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahuah
Isa 42:8 I am Yahuah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
To anyone who wants to undertake a worthy search to discover the knowledge of our Creator and our God, the noble desire to know and understand the Glory of Yahuah is an undertaking worth the effort. Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Num 14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Yahuah.
Psa 72:19 And blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amein, and Amein.
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahuah, as the waters cover the sea.
Let me take just a minute to explain the 6th, 7th and 8th day as it relates to understanding the prophetic language of Biblical writings. In the Book of Genesis, we read that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them in six days. Then on the seventh day, God rested. Each day of creation prophetically represents 1000 years. The first six days of creation represent the first 6000 years of life on earth. These are the six days in which God labored in creating all things. Those 6000 years are coming to an end shortly. On the 7th day God rested. That represents 1000 years of rest on earth. That is the age we are studying in this post, the Millennial age. The 8th day represents a new beginning, a new week, a new age that will follow the end of the Millennial age.
In the Book of Leviticus, chapters 8 and 9 (I will not include those chapters here. Please read them in your Bible) we see Aaron and his sons being set apart, sanctified unto the work of Yahuah. Seven days was the duration of the process of their consecration to the work of the Priest. Then in chapter 9, on the 8th day, Moses tells all the people what they must do so that the Glory of Yahuah would appear to all of them.
These chapters, like most of the Book of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, are full of sacrifices, offerings, and other rituals that need to be understood spiritually. I am not going into that now, it would take a book or two of writing. What I want to focus on are the three offerings and their explanations.
There is a SIN OFFERING, AN ASCENDING SMOKE OFFERING, AND A PEACE OFFERING.
These offerings are fulfilled in Yahusha HaMashiach. His death for all the sins of the world was the sin offering. His resurrection and ascension to heaven in the sight of His disciples is the ascending smoke offering. The peace offering is the gift of the Holy Spirit which He received from His Father and gave to those who, by faith, believe on Him, receive Him, and follow Him, so that they can live in peace with God.
These same offerings were accomplished on Aaron and his sons (who represent those chosen by God, the elect, the ekklesia, the church, the Israel of God) while they waited seven days in the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle represents our spiritual life while we live in this age, this present fleshly body.
The appearance of the Glory of Yahuah to all the people on the 8th day is clearly God dwelling both with and in all His people in New Jerusalem which is the age to come. However the fulfillment of those sacrifices on Aaron and his sons, during the days of their separation, in the Tabernacle, represents the age we are living in.
Because of the fulfillment of those sacrifices by Yahusha, aka Jesus, the glory of Yahuah can and will appear on His Elect. The visible glory of God appeared on the face of Moses after he had met with God face to face on Mt. Sinai. My personal belief is that the glory of God will appear on the final remnant when they meet with Him face to face in the wilderness of the peoples as I have written earlier. Here is the prophecy…
Isa 60:1 ARISE, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of Yahuah is risen upon you.
Isa 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but Yahuah shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.
Isa 60:3 And the other nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
This prophecy cannot be after the Millennial period or prophetically speaking after the seven days are fulfilled because it is a time that darkness is covering the earth and gross darkness covering the people of the earth. That is the time we are living in and things will continue to get darker and darker until the end of the age of the Gentiles.
I have written in various posts about the visible Glory of Yahuah appearing upon His people. I think this is the proper place to detail what I believe the scriptures say about this subject. This will not be a complete study but a condensed study because the Bible has so much to say about the Glory of Yahuah. I will make references to most scriptures but only include the one specific to this event.
In Exodus 16 and 24 we see the Glory of Yahuah appearing on Mt. Sinai. First, a cloud covers the mountaintop then the Glory of Yahuah appears as a devouring fire on the mountaintop. In Exodus 40, Leviticus 9, Numbers 14,16, and 20 we see the Glory of Yahuah appearing in the Tabernacle usually in the same manner as a cloud filling the Tabernacle and then the Glory of Yahuah appearing. In 2 Chronicles 5 and 7 we see the Glory of Yahuah filling Soloman’s Temple in the same manner. In Ezekiel 10 we see the Glory of Yahuah departing from Soloman’s Temple, again in the same manner cloaked in a cloud. The message contained in the metaphors of these locations is awesome. However, what I want you to see for this subject is the cloud and the fire.
The Glory of Yahuah is spoken of many times in the Bible. These examples above are typical. When His Glory appears there is usually a thick cloud covering the brightness of His Glory so that the observer is not consumed by the brightness. From a distance, the Glory appears as a consuming fire.
Exo 24:16 And the glory of Yahuah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
Exo 24:17 And the sight of the glory of Yahuah was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
Esh Okhlah, a consuming fire, could literally be one of the compound names of God. It is one of His overlooked yet frequently mentioned characteristics. In the final analysis, on the last day, that great day when God creates a new heaven and a new earth, this present creation will melt with a fervent heat as a consuming fire will consume this present universe that we live in.
Deu 4:24 For Yahuah thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. (“אֵשׁ אֹכְלָה” (esh okhlah))
Deu 9:3 Understand therefore this day, that Yahuah thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as Yahuah hath said unto thee.
Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.
There are several instances in the Bible where fire comes down from heaven and consumes something, This particular miracle is one that the False Prophet will perform in order to deceive men into worshipping the Beast. But a simple demonstration of the supernatural is not what we are examining here. I am going to show you the connection of the Glory of God with the characteristics of God, with the Holy Spirit, and how the scriptures reveal what will take place when the final remnant of Israel comes face to face with God in the same manner as Moses came face to face with God on Mt. Sinai.
While we are still on the subject of fire, let’s look at the Day of Pentecost. Yahusha, aka Jesus, was resurrected on the first day of the week, the day we call Sunday. 50 days later is Pentecost. When Yahusha ascended into heaven it was 40 days after His resurrection. His last instruction to His disciples was Luk 24:49And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Tarry they did, for 10 more days…
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Here we see the disciples being endued with power from on high. The visual manifestation of the Holy Spirit as tongues of fire should not be lost on the reader. Everything God does communicates.
Let’s look at the characteristics of God associated directly with His Glory. While meeting with God at Mt. Sinai, Moses asks God to show him His Glory. Exo 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. To which God agrees and says He will cause all His Goodness to pass before Moses and will proclaim His Name to Moses and as His Glory passes by Moses He will put him in a cleft of a rock so Moses will not see His Face, because no one can see the Face of God and live. So here is what Moses hears and sees.
Exo 34:5 And Yahuah descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahuah.
Exo 34:6 And Yahuah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Yahuah, Yahuah El, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Exo 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Let’s look at the Glory of Yahusha, aka Jesus.
Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Let’s look at the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Now let’s tie all this together with the scriptures that tell of the Glory of God appearing on the final remnant of Israel.
There is one precedent in scripture where the Glory of Yahuah appears on human flesh.
Exo 34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
Exo 34:30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
Exo 34:31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
Exo 34:32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that Yahuah had spoken with him in Mount Sinai.
Exo 34:33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
Exo 34:34 But when Moses went in before Yahuah to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
Exo 34:35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
The Glory of Yahuah was on the face of Moses from the day he came down from Mt. Sinai the second time until the day of his death. It never faded or departed from him.
Now let’s look at the specific scriptures relevant to the Glory of Yahuah appearing on the final remnant. Isaiah 60:2 declares that it absolutely will happen. Isaiah 9:4-5 and Isaiah 10:24-27 says that it will happen in the same manner as the destruction of the Midianites by Gideon at the rock of Oreb. Those same verses declare that the defeat of the “Assyrian”, the False Prophet and the Beast, will be with burning, fuel of fire, by the anointing.
Isa 9:4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
Isa 9:5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
Isa 10:24 Therefore thus saith Yahuah GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
Isa 10:25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
Isa 10:26 And Yahuah of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
Isa 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
These are very specific references to Gideon’s defeat of the Midianites. God is very specific in saying the defeat of the Beast and the False Prophet will be in the same manner as Gideon defeated the Midianite army. Let’s look at those verses in detail and you will see exactly what God is saying.
Jdg 7:1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
Jdg 7:2 And Yahuah said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
Jdg 7:3Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
Jdg 7:4 And Yahuah said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.
Jdg 7:5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and Yahuah said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.
Jdg 7:6 And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.
Jdg 7:7 And Yahuah said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
Jdg 7:8 So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
Jdg 7:9 And it came to pass the same night, that Yahuah said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand.
Jdg 7:10 But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host:
Jdg 7:11 And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.
Jdg 7:12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
Jdg 7:13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.
Jdg 7:14 And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.
Jdg 7:15 And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for Yahuah hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.
Jdg 7:16 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
Jdg 7:17 And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
Jdg 7:18 When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of Yahuah, and of Gideon.
Gideon Defeats Midian
Jdg 7:19 So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.
Jdg 7:20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of Yahuah, and of Gideon.
Jdg 7:21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
Jdg 7:22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and Yahuah set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.
Jdg 7:23 And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.
Jdg 7:24 And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
Jdg 7:25 And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.
There is so much to unpack in this event. This is a picture of how Yahuah will defeat the AntiChrist and his False Prophet. We read things in chronological order and think in the same manner. God decided all things from before He laid the foundations of these heavens and this earth. The seemingly strange way he goes about delivering the Midianites into Gideon’s hand is done to paint a picture for the final generation of how God will deliver the Beast and the False Prophet into the final remnants’ hand.
God wants the final generation of the age of the Gentiles to understand the symbology in this account of Gideon’s battle with the Midianites. God selected 300 people from the 32,000 who went out to the battle. This represents the passing under the rod that I wrote about earlier. While in the wilderness God will separate the final remnant of Israel into those HE has chosen. I do not know how many will flee from Jerusalem during the persecution of the Beast and the False Prophet but many will escape into southern Jordan. There they will be both hidden and nourished but also tried and purged.
The trumpets in their right hands, the pitchers made of clay and the fire hidden inside the clay pitchers in their left hands are the key symbols relevant to the glory that will appear upon the final remnant.
The trumpet in this scripture is the word shofar. A shofar is made from a ram’s horn and creates a loud sound blast. The shofar is a staple in Jewish culture, festivals, and traditions. The history of the sound is essential to understand its meaning. Judaism began at the exodus from Egypt. The descendants of Jacob left Egypt after the 10 plagues God sent upon Egypt by the hand of Moses. That night Pharoah and his army pursued Moses and the Israelites in an attempt to overtake them and kill them. With the Red Sea in front of them and Pharoah’s army closing in, God parted the Red Sea and the Israelites crossed over on dry ground. When Pharaoh’s army pursued them and entered the Red Sea, God allowed the waters to return to normal, and Pharoah and his entire army drowned in the Red Sea. Safe on the other side of the Red Sea the Israelites celebrated their deliverance by singing what is known as the Song of Moses.
Exo 15:1-21 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto Yahuah, and spake, saying, I will sing unto Yahuah, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. Yahuah is my strength and song, and he is become Yahusha: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Yahuah is a man of war: Yahuah is his name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea. The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone. Thy right hand, O Yahuah, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Yahuah, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble. And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. Who is like unto thee, O Yahuah, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders. Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation. The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O Yahuah, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased. Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O Yahuah, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Yahuah, which thy hands have established. Yahuah shall reign forever and ever. For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Yahuah brought again the waters of the sea upon them, but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to Yahuah, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
The keys to understanding the shofar being held in their right hand and the blowing of the shofar striking fear in their enemies can be seen in this song.
- Yahuah is a man of war: Yahuah is his name.
- Thy right hand, O Yahuah, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Yahuah, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
- Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
- The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone
Understanding the sound of the shofar representing the arrival of Yahuah, the “man of war” going in front of Israel and defeating their enemies comes from when the Israelites arrive at Mt. Sinai and meet with God, face to face.
Exo 19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
Exo 19:2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
Exo 19:9 And Yahuah said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto Yahuah.
Exo 19:10 And Yahuah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
Exo 19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day Yahuah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
Exo 19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
Again, the word translated as trumpet is the word shofar.
Exo 19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because Yahuah descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
Exo 19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet (shofar) sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
The presence of God, in person, is accompanied by
- Thick cloud
- Fire
- Thunders and lightnings
- Earth trembling
- But most of all He is announced by the shofar-sounding. God is here!
The shofar in the right hand and the sounding of the shofar is to be understood as Yahuah, the “man of war”, which has come to lead the battle against Israel’s enemies. At that time the Midianites are the enemy, and in the time to come the Beast and the False Prophet and their armies will be the enemy that God will defeat. This battle to come is what you read in Enoch, Jude, and Revelation and takes place in the spiritual realm as the final remnant is filled with the Holy Spirit and will begin their return from southern Jordon, which in Biblical terms is Moab, Edom, Bozrah, Teman, Idumea, etc.
1 Enoch 1:9 And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgment upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
Jud 1:14-15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Rev 19:11-16 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
A final note on this part and then I will get to the Glory of Yahuah appearing on the final remnant. When we see wars going on here on Earth, what we do not see is the war going on in the spiritual realm at the same time. There is a war going on in the spiritual realm over the destiny of mankind. Our enemies are not only flesh and blood, but also Principalities of darkness, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness are warring against the human race. There are people of darkness in this world and people of light in this world. There are rulers of darkness in the heavenly realm and angels faithful to Yahuah in the heavenly realm. There is no war against God or His authority. The war is against His chosen ones, the Elect of God, the seed that will crush the head of the leader of darkness, Satan.
In a well-known story in 2 Kings, Elisha’s servant wakes up one morning to see the city they were living in surrounded by the army of their enemy. He turns to Elisha and asks him “what are we going to do”? Elisha says don’t worry, more are those with us than those against us. Elisha’s servant only sees the two of them. Then Elisha asks God to open his servant’s eyes so he can see the spiritual realm. When God does, the servant sees all the mountains and hills around them full of horses and chariots of fire. Elisha’s servant then realizes, that what in the natural appears to be 2 against a great army, in reality, is the enemy’s army is vastly outnumbered by the armies of heaven that will defend the men of God.
2Ki 6:15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
2Ki 6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
2Ki 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Yahuah, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And Yahuah opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
What people mistakenly think is the second coming of Christ is in fact, Yahusha Ha Mashiach, Jesus the Christ, appearing in the clouds of heaven and coming with tens of thousands of His saints, who were martyred in the great tribulation, to wage war against the Beast and the False Prophet and their armies, from the heavenly realm, while the final remnant of Israel, full of the Holy Spirit gather the rest of the people of Israel to war against the same here on Earth.
Now we get to the part I find the most interesting. In Gideon’s 300 men’s left hand were empty pitchers and lamps within the pitchers. Let’s look at those verses again.
Jdg 7:16 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
Jdg 7:20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of Yahuah, and of Gideon.
The sword of Yahuah and of Gideon. The war in heaven and the war on Earth for the destiny of the elect of God.
The word pitchers in the original Hebrew is כַּד (kad) which is common earthenware, clay pots or jars. The word lamps is לַפִּיד (lappid) which is commonly translated as torches or lamps made of fire. The metaphors here are obvious. The clay pots or jars are vessels of clay. They represent our human bodies. The lamps of fire hidden within the clay vessels is the Holy Spirit, the fire of God, dwelling within His people. The breaking of the vessels of clay reveals the fire within. I believe this represents fire of the Holy Spirit in the form of the Glory of God becoming visible upon the final remnant, the woman who gave birth to the ManChild, who was carried on the wings of a great eagle into the wilderness. Just like when Israel fled from Pharoah, just like when Israel met with God at Mt. Sinai, just like when Moses met with God FACE TO FACE and the Glory of God shone from his face, so will the Glory of God appear upon the final remnant of Israel in the wilderness of the peoples in southern Jordon. Every parallel is there in the scriptures.
When they left Egypt: Exo 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles‘ wings, and brought you unto myself.
When the Woman flees from the face of the serpent (the devil): Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
After the manner in which God dealt with Israel when He brought them forth from Egypt, in the same manner will He deal with the final remnant of Israel: Ezk 20:33– 36 As I live, saith the Yahuah, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith Yahuah.
As Moses met with God face to face on Mt. Sinai and afterward when he came down the Glory of God appeared on his face: Exo 34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
So will the Glory of God appear upon the final remnant of Israel after they meet with God face to face in the wilderness of the peoples: Isa 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but Yahuah shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And finally, the second witness from the scriptures:
Isa 4:2 In that day shall the branch of Yahuah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
Isa 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Isa 4:4 When Yahuah shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
Isa 4:5 And Yahuah will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
Isa 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
The cloud of smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night is NOT the Glory. The cloud of smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night is THE DEFENCE that is upon the Glory!
